Post subject:  EZ Clutch

So, I found this "ez clutch" kit available at the stealership for my 2001 ElectraGlide Classic. I remember putting this on my 2000 fatboy, and all it was, was a lever you attached at the end of the clutch cable, inside the trans cover... So I ordered it for my '01 glide..... This one was completely different. Instructions said I had to partially disassemble the clutch, and all kinds of stuff... I got scared and took it back. How hard is it to do? I am fairly mechanically inclined, but don't want to screw anything up.

is this a new ball and ramp set up? if it is it's not that hard to do

Not sure... I know that on my fatboy, it was simple. All inside the trans cover on the right side of the bike. Very simple... The one for my Electra glide had extra parts, and required "partially disassembling" the clutch basket...
